Oops, I missed another quarter with no plane
work! Dang. After getting all the metal parts powdercoated I had to work
on some home improvement projects, which will still be taking some time.
However after talking to Phil about his canopy bushings and using oversize
reamers to get the plastic bushings fitting good, I decided to try it. I
ground the ends of the reamers to fit into some small sockets so I could
turn them with a ratchet, getting the three right side bushings done;
first with a 5/16 reamer, then a .001 oversize, then some careful hand
file work. |
