Top Wing Rotator - Could not get the crossbars on becase the stubs were out of alignment. Also the hoops were not straight. Had to straighten the hoops by heating their sides yellow in key locations with a oxy-acetylene torch to cause distortion in the proper direction. Once the hoops were pretty straight, cut the tackwelds on the stubs and re welded them in using the crossbars as jigs. |
